Curtis Thompson, MD
Professional Profile

Dr. Thompson is CTA Pathology’s Medical Director as well as a Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at the Oregon Health & Sciences University. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and completed both his residency and fellowship training at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Thompson is board-certified in dermatopathology and anatomic pathology, with expertise in alopecia and diseases of the nail. Dr. Thompson maintains regular academic research study projects with students and residents and delivers presentations worldwide at conferences such as the World Congress for Hair Research, the European Nail Society in France, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
